The protein and fiber-rich soya granules along with green peas make this recipe a healthy snack for weight watchers.

Makes: 9 cutlets
Ingredients:
Soya Granules- ¼ cup
Steamed Green Peas- ¼ cup
Whole Wheat Bread Slices- 4 whole
Boiled Potato Cubes- ¼ cup
Blanched & Chopped Spinach- ¼ cup
Finely-Chopped Onions- 2 tbsp
Grated Carrot- ¼ cup
Finely-Chopped Coriander- ¼ cup
Chopped Green Chilies- ½ tsp
Ginger Paste- ½ tsp
Dry Mango Powder- ¼ tsp
Turmeric Powder- ¼ tsp
Garam Masala- ½ tsp
Salt- To taste
Oil- 1¾ tsp for greasing and cooking
For Serving:
Mint chutney
Method:
- Soak the soya granules in 1 cup of hot water for about 15 minutes. Squeeze the water out to make them sufficiently dry and set aside.
- Place bread slices in a blender and shred them to crumbs or use a hand slicer to make fine shreds instead. Set them aside.
- Mix the above two ingredients along with remaining components to make a uniform mixture.Divide this mixture into 8 parts and make a patty out of each portion.
- Heat a nonstick pan and grease it with ½ tsp oil. Shallow fry the patties using another ½ tsp of oil until they turn golden brown on both sides.
